Luis Miguel Correia
Born 1956 in Lisbon, Portugal, close to the river Tagus and its ships. Decided to be a future Captain of S.S. INFANTE DOM HENRIQUE when 5-year old and to write books on ships when 8-year old. Never got my Master's Certificate but did publish my first book in 1988 and 18 other books so far with another 3 in the slipway to be published during 2012-13. Became a Shipping Memorabilia collector in 1962 and a shipping photographer in 1970 and I'm still very active in both fields as well as in shipping history research. My first ship was the S.S. VERA CRUZ (1952-1973).
